I had two interviews with two different staff members before being offered a position. Both interviews were remote via Teams. The first interview was all standard interview questions, they really liked having examples and impacts when giving your answers. The second interview I was given a task within the time slot and then asked to present/talk through my results. The task was straight forward and realistic to create in the given time. It was also relevant to the role and the desired qualifications/experience. Overall, a very positive experience.

After I applied, they sent a rejection, then two weeks later, an interview offer. The interviewer was new, having only been there a few months, and couldn't answer my questions about company culture, only mentioning his sister who has been there seven years. The interview felt disorganized, and he mentioned several stages, more than the usual three. I decided not to proceed because the interviewer was unprofessional. He sent a rejection letter a few days later, but it didn't matter.

I applied online and a recruiter quickly contacted me to schedule a phone screen at my convenience. Following that, the recruiter arranged an in-person interview with the Director and Center Director for the next week. I received a complete tour of the facility before a 45-minute interview with both directors. After that, I spent about 10 minutes interacting with a classroom to get a feel for the environment. The whole experience was very welcoming. They mentioned the decision would take 2-3 weeks and outlined the hiring process, offering the option to check in on the status with them or the recruiter. They hired someone else the following day.

This was one of the worst interview processes I've been through, really unprofessional. It started with a basic Recruiter Call, followed by an interview with the Hiring Manager where I was asked basic behavioral questions which I handled well. Then came a Tech Round with technical questions and a problem-solving task, which went great with a good interviewer. After that, I was ghosted for 3 weeks. Despite multiple follow-ups, I was eventually told they wanted another round. Round 4 was with a Senior BA and went perfectly. Again, ghosted for 3 weeks with no replies from the recruiter or Hiring Manager. The Hiring Manager then emailed saying two more rounds would happen. Round 5 was with the Director of Product Management and it went great. Round 6 was a tech interview with an offshore developer who kept his camera off and immediately started asking generic tech questions from Google, which I answered fine. I was ghosted for 2 weeks after that, and then the recruiter called to say they were moving forward with another candidate. Really bad experience overall, and they offered below-average salary.
