The first interview was over video call, lasting about 45 minutes. They asked some technical questions and gave some coding challenges. The second interview was in person at BYU. Before that, they gave a take-home challenge to be completed within a week. During the interview, they asked many standard questions, especially behavioral "tell me about a time when..." questions. They then reviewed the take-home challenge, provided another coding challenge, and asked a couple of whiteboarding questions. This part lasted about 2 and a half hours.

So first, I had a phone chat about my general experiences and career goals. After that, they sent over a programming challenge to complete at home, written in javascript. They mentioned they tend to interview candidates who submit a completed challenge, no matter the final score. The next step was an in-person interview with three engineers. We talked about some general experiences, and then I had to write some code on the whiteboard. The problem wasn't too difficult, and they were helpful with hints.
