The recruiter told me upfront that this company is super serious about its culture and they'll check if you're willing to fit in. Bridgewater believes honesty is key to getting the best out of people. So, after a skills test and three hours of one-on-one interviews, I had a meeting with a 'culture specialist'. This person debated with me for another hour about why I should have called a poorly performing employee an 'a-hole' instead of offering constructive feedback on their mistakes, because apparently, that's the 'truth' and it's better. We argued for a long time about whether truth is absolute or subjective. I honestly thought that argument, which they record, would get me rejected on the spot, but they actually called me back.
