I had a good interview process, even though it was pretty long. A recruiter found me on LinkedIn and asked if I was interested. There were five rounds of interviews, and the whole thing took about three months. Everyone I met was really nice and smart.

They have a video interview and a group interview. The video interview is a standard hirevue style with 1 minute to prep and 1-2 minutes to talk. I would prepare a list of questions to ask them since they might ask if you have questions at the end. Pick something that shows focus and highlights your skills. The group interview is in a room with two recruiters and 10 other candidates. Each candidate needs to prepare a question and the recruiters will pick 1 or 2 of the best ones. They'll record the entire conversation. You need to prepare a question that is interesting or can spur a complex conversation. There's not really a way to prepare for it, but look for interesting debate questions to come up with your question for the interview. Look up research or articles related to that topic to have relevant arguments since you might be discussing that question in the interview.

So you have to read an article before the interview. Then the interview is all about Q&A on the article. They ask you to summarize it, talk about how you approach understanding new things, and they ask finance questions about the article like what would happen to the risk of the asset here, or what does this concept mean. The goal is to see how you handle new information and learn, and also to check your finance background and how well you know the role you are applying for. They didn't ask me anything about my background or experience, only article-related questions.
