First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bridgestone Global.
Product Marketing Manager
It was a standard process, starting with HR screening, then one interview, and a business case. They mentioned the next step would be an interview with a peer within a week. However, after being ghosted for three weeks and sending two followups to the interviewer, the HR associate let me know they selected someone else. The interviews themselves were thorough and constructive, but the lack of follow-up left a bad impression.
- Given that the role involves interacting with people of various seniorities, some of whom may be challenging, how would you approach communication and persuasion with those senior-level individuals?
Plant Engineer
The process is really long and feels tedious. There are several interviews, and they let you know about an in-person knowledge test with very little notice. The whole process has been open for over six months.

Digital Project Manager
The interview was a really great experience. It all went smoothly and was well set up. The recruiting people were super professional and made me feel welcome. The questions they asked were spot on and let me show off my skills. I liked how clear they were about what they wanted and how quickly they got back to me after. Overall, it was a nice and encouraging interview that made me want to join the company. I'm feeling really good about how things are progressing.

Head of Retail Operations
After applying online, I was directly contacted by HR for an initial brief phone chat. They gave positive feedback that my background and experience were a good match for this specific role. However, after that, there was complete silence and ghosting. Later, I received a one-sentence email stating it wouldn't work out. I asked for more details to understand and improve, but got no feedback. The job keeps popping up with new alerts on social media, on and off, for the past 8-9 months.
- Can you tell me about your background check?
