Bar Back
The whole interview process was pretty fast and smooth. I applied on a Monday, got a call back in a few days, and had my interview within a week. Got an offer right after the interview and started not long after that.
- Have you worked in the restaurant industry before?
Busser
The hiring process involved a significant wait time before the interview began, despite arriving early. They steered me towards a host position instead of my preferred busser role and asked standard interview questions.
- What motivated you to apply for this job?
- Have you worked in restaurants before?
Server
I submitted my application online and got a call the very next day to schedule an interview. I attended the interview and was asked pretty standard restaurant questions like if I knew about brick house, to upsell a coke, and about my alcohol knowledge. I wasn't the most knowledgeable about alcohol, and honestly, it was a bit intimidating. The day after, they called and told me they were really impressed with my interview and offered me the job! Then I got an email with all the details for orientation and training.
- What are five types of vodka you know?
- Can you name five vodkas?
Executive Chef
I had a phone interview and then met the general manager who gave me a walkthrough. The GM was really upfront about the job. I'm waiting to hear back about a third interview with the director of operations. I'll update after that.
