Applied online and heard back from the recruiter within a week. They reached out to schedule a call. The recruiter explained the new interview process, which involves working on a project with the team. I liked the innovative approach, as it was a nice break from typical interview questions and take-home assignments. The project brief was a bit unclear, and I had some initial issues with Figma, but collaborating with the team was a positive experience.

The interview process had several steps. Communication with the recruiter was a challenge, often requiring intermediaries to get a response. After expressing interest and scheduling the next interview, a week-long wait for a reply occurred, again needing intervention. This repeated for subsequent rounds, extending the timeline and potentially impacting my chances. During a time-sensitive interview, interviewers were late and didn't acknowledge it or extend the time, creating a rushed feeling and a negative impression. Despite not moving forward, the recruiter mentioned providing feedback, but it was never received. An email inquiry about feedback also went unanswered.
- Asked to solve a design problem.

I had a call with the recruiter who thought I was a great fit and we set up the next interviews. The next stages were a "casual past work review" and an App Critique session. The "casual past work review" was described as casual, not a presentation, but the interviewer acted like I was supposed to be presenting. I had prepared for a casual conversation. The actual portfolio review was later. This part felt okay despite the surprise. The design critique went well, I had a fun session and they liked my thinking. I was pretty confident I'd move on, but then I was ghosted, not even a reply to my follow up email. I expect some kind of reply after reaching this stage. The full interview process is: 1. Recruiter call 2. Casual past work review (process focused) 3. Design Critique 4. Whiteboard challenge 5. Portfolio presentation (in-depth process, thinking etc) 6. Design process and collaboration interview 7. Values interview
- Can you introduce yourself?
