The interview process at Brex was great. Recruiters communicated well, responded to follow-ups, and set clear expectations. Brex has a high hiring bar because they get top candidates and can choose from the best. The whole interview process involved 9 interviews: a recruiter screen, a hiring manager screen, and then 7 panel interviews with team members, including a sales role play. Each interview was 30 minutes. The interviewing team was passionate about their work. Questions were fair, not meant to trick, but they expected next-level answers. Overall, it was a good experience but requires a lot of prep. This wasn't ideal since I didn't get an offer due to my non-financial services industry background.

Standard meet and greet with general questions. Felt things we're going well, I was advised via e-mail they were no longer considering me for the role after 3 interviews without reason. Asked via e-mail for clarification and received none. I feel it's important for their business to reply back and provide feedback after passing an initial interview point to identify the reasons we did not move forward.

I think the first step is a recruiter screen, then other rounds. I had a great talk with the recruiter, they were friendly and knew a lot. It was the best interview I've had so far, totally different from other places. I really liked Brex, their product (super advanced) and how focused they are on clients. They also seem to really value their employees. The interview process shows you a lot about the company and the people they hire. I only have good things to say about it. Sadly, we didn't move forward. The pay was quite a bit lower than the market rate for the job and requirements. Even though the company is remote optional, they change pay based on location, which I don't think is a good idea. To get the best people, you need to pay based on experience. Someone's contribution isn't different depending on where they live. Overall, it was a great experience. Good luck to the team and congrats on your success.
