Behavioral Technical Coding

Recruiter reached out, and then I went through 3 main stages. The first was a recruiter call. The second stage had two interviews: one where I discussed a past project, and another for a statistics coding round. The third stage was the onsite, spread over two days with four interviews total. If you passed the first two stages, you'd proceed to the onsite. Interviews covered coding skills (not LeetCode style), ML, how data science is used in their product, and behavioral aspects. All questions were fair, testing knowledge and communication. Recruiters were helpful and gave feedback after each stage.

Behavioral Technical Coding System Design Case

The hiring manager reached out on LinkedIn, leading to a video call. This was followed by a lengthy behavioral interview. After that, there was a final round of 6 interviews spread over two days. The recruiter helped me prepare for this final round and was flexible with my schedule. They called to give me detailed feedback. While their interview process is quite long for this field, I really liked how they managed the process and gave feedback.

Technical Case

The recruiter was great, really nice and helpful. They gave a good overview of the company and the team, which was informative. I also got feedback after my phone screen. I didn't pass the technical screen. I think I could have done better on the SQL part, so I can't complain about failing that. However, the whole vibe felt like a rigid exam, where they were looking for specific answers rather than having a real conversation. But I guess that's what a technical screen is.

  • Questions about SQL and a business case study.
