Key Account Manager
The interview process was really fast and I got feedback quickly. The hiring manager reached out to me and shared his thoughts directly. Even though I didn't receive an offer, they did recommend me internally within the company.
- What are your strategies for managing difficult client accounts?
Account Manager
This interview process was laughable. I was contacted by Talent Acquisition, not someone who applied. The compensation details provided by TA were completely different from what the hiring manager discussed. During the interview, we talked about base salary plus commission. My expectations were not aligned with theirs, which led to the interview ending abruptly. If you interview, be sure you understand the exact role, base salary, and commission structure from both the hiring team and TA. The offer from the hiring team (base plus commission) wouldn't have been worth my time.
- What are your expectations regarding base salary and commission?
Account Manager
This was a pretty long process. First, there was a phone screening with HR. After that, I had two separate video meetings with a Director and a Regional Sales Manager, each lasting about 1.5 hours. Both hiring managers were great, which made the interviews conversational and smooth. After passing the drug and criminal background screen, the whole thing took 2 months. Totally worth it!
- Could you share how your past experiences have shaped you into a more effective sales representative?
