First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brembo.
Design Engineer
I was first contacted by HR over the phone. The interview process had three stages: First, a general screening interview with HR. Second, a more technical interview with my future manager. Third, an in-person interview which was a mix of HR and the technical manager. I traveled 200 km for this third in-person interview. During this meeting, HR asked questions but didn't seem very interested in my answers. After touring their exhibit, I asked for feedback, especially since they were eager to hire someone. I never heard back, even though I reached the final selection stage and had traveled a significant distance. It felt very disrespectful to someone who showed interest.

- What are your future career aspirations?
Design Engineer
Three interviews happened. The first was an online HR interview where they asked about my academic and professional background, my skills for the job, and other skills like personality, teamwork, and overcoming challenges. The second was an online Engineer interview with a potential senior engineer. They asked similar questions but then focused on the job position specifics. The third interview was in person with two engineers. They asked the same types of questions again. Then, I was asked to describe a component, detailing its parts and design choices, to see how I think, not necessarily for a correct answer.

- Why Brembo and what do you expect?
Project Engineer
So, I went through a lot of steps with HR and other engineers. There were many other graduates in the same process. Overall, the company left me with a really bad impression; they seem flashy and all about producing brakes, which isn't exactly rocket science. They kicked things off with a dull presentation about their work for a huge group of graduates. Then, they interviewed the graduates one by one. The first question, as you might expect, was about the presentation. Since it was so boring, I could only recall the titles of the first few slides. This really didn't sit well with the interviewers. So, pay close attention to the presentation details. They even asked about the presenter's t-shirt color, which was kind of funny, though I'm kidding about that part.
- Tell me about what you did in your life.
- What was something they asked you?
