I went through several interviews for an internal role. Each interview covered a different part of the job, which was useful and gave me a better idea of what's expected. I was told more than once that I was a strong candidate for the role. So, the final decision was disappointing, especially since the only reason given was the high number of applicants. As an internal employee, that explanation didn't really help. I'm disappointed with how it turned out, but I'm still glad I got to explore the opportunity and go through the process.

I had two interviews and was told I would hear back about next steps, but I haven't heard anything and it's been over a month. I followed up with HR and the hiring manager, but neither responded. I've seen other reviews, and it seems like this is the norm, which has left a bad impression. I'm surprised this is their practice, as I've never had two interviews and then no follow-up either way.

The interview process moved pretty quickly and was pretty straightforward, with three rounds of interviews. They said they'd let me know about the next steps the following week, but I didn't hear back for over three weeks, despite sending two follow-up emails.

Behavioral Case Presentation

The interview process kicked off with a phone screen, then moved to three Skype interviews. The final stage was a multi-stakeholder interview held at their offices in New York, NY. Meeting all the stakeholders was a great experience; they were clearly passionate and engaged professionals who are dedicated to their work. It was a really positive and amazing experience overall. I was so disappointed I couldn't accept their offer because of logistical reasons. Anyone who gets the chance to work with the team at JDRF will be incredibly fortunate!
