First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bread Financial.
Risk Intern
The interview process included a few stages. First up was a phone interview, which was pretty simple and mostly a formality to get started. After that, you'll have an in-person interview. Don't stress!
- Can you describe a past project you've worked on?
Intern
I applied online after a recommendation, and heard back in about two weeks. The first step was a phone interview with general questions about me and my background. About a week later, I was contacted for the next round. Since I couldn't do an in-person interview due to studying abroad, I had two 30-minute Skype interviews back-to-back. The first was with the team I'd be interning with, and the second was with their managers. These interviews were more focused on my resume and why I felt this internship would be a good fit for both me and the company. I received an offer a week after that.
- In what ways will you gain from this internship at Alliance, and how will Alliance benefit from what you do?
Intern
I went through three interviews with Alliance Data before starting my internship. Mostly behavioral questions, they wanted to know my background story, what I'm passionate about, and my career goals. Alliance Data has an amazing intern program with great support and they really care about each intern. They organize fun events and outings, which helps you bond with other interns and get a good feel for the company and how it works. Alliance is also good at matching interns to roles based on their skills and interests.
- Can you walk me through your background?
