bread & Butter General Intern Interview Questions

I've always wanted to work in Public Relations, especially at Bread and Butter because I loved their story and how fast they were growing. It's what made me go back to school for PR and Digital Marketing. For six years, I worked really hard hoping to either start my own firm like them or at least intern there. A few months before I graduated, I applied for an internship and honestly didn't expect to hear back. But they called, and I even got a phone interview for the LA office! Sadly, I didn't get the internship. It was still cool to get the call, but I have to deduct some stars because of how they handled it. They said they were looking for an intern, and the interviewer was super nice, telling me I was perfect and exactly what they needed. She asked to see my blog from class, then said we'd keep in touch, and then... nothing. I was left hanging. I found out I didn't get the job a week later from a LinkedIn post, not directly from them. Please, don't ignore the people you interview. If you've found your candidate, at least let the others know. A simple 'We regret to inform you' email or call is fine; people will get over it. This company seems great, and I'll always appreciate them for inspiring my career path, but I really hope they improve their HR game for future interns and employees.

The interview process was very friendly and personable, not just focused on the role. The HR team was thorough and friendly. I really enjoyed the entire process and experience and loved working with them and learned a lot. Other agencies could learn from them.

The experience was very personable, I felt that the interviewer was getting to know me on both a professional and a personal level as it related to the hospitality industry. She explained the position thoroughly and I feel that the position is as to be expected. You get a hands on internship in the hospitality PR sector.
