First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at bread & Butter.
Account Executive
I talked to 3 people total. HR gave me a call first. Then I met with a director and a manager at the office I would be working in.
- What's your go-to restaurant?
Account Executive
The interview was pretty standard, but they asked a couple of questions that didn't relate to my qualifications and seemed to be used against me. I realized pretty quickly I didn't want to work there when the interviewer asked if I was getting engaged soon. It was pretty despicable and sexist, as a male candidate would never be asked that. Major red flag for anyone considering b&B.
- Are you getting engaged anytime soon?
- Do you use Gmail or Outlook at your current company?
Account Executive
The interview process was super organized. They were really open about the role and seemed to love the company culture and their clients. The questions were pretty unique and it felt like they genuinely cared about where employees wanted to go in their careers.
- How do you keep yourself informed about the latest in food and public relations news?
- Can you recall an instance where you followed your intuition or gut feeling?
