Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Braze.
Business Development Representative
I had situation-based questions, competency-based questions, and informal chats with management and team members. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming. It was a tough interview but a good experience nonetheless.
- What value will you add to the team?
Business Development Representative
We started with a 30-minute call with HR to see if your background was a good fit. Then, there was an online assessment based on a real case scenario, where you couldn't use existing customers. After that, you had an interview with the hiring manager about the case you developed, followed by an interview with the Head of the department.
- What made you select this particular company for your case study?
Business Development Representative
The interview process had 4 steps. They didn't open the homework assignment, but it was attached to the email submission. Only one submission was made. I was told I didn't make it. I figured out the error and continued with the interview process. After completing the 4th round of interviews, I was told I'd get a response the next week. Three weeks passed, and I still had no answer. Grateful I didn't end up working for this company.
- As a Canadian, how would you approach sales conversations with Europeans, given their distinct personas and expectations?
