Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brainly.
Content Specialist
The interview process felt excessively long and had too many steps. The demo task was engaging, but I'm uncertain if the hiring manager fully evaluated it. However, interactions with the hiring managers and HR were positive.
- Can you share an instance where you devised a solution that led to savings in time or money?
Content Specialist
The whole process involves about 3 to 4 steps. It kicks off with a phone call from HR for screening. After that, you'll meet with the hiring manager. Then, there's a take-home task. Finally, you'll have a team interview. It's a pretty chill process, with feedback given along the way. You can tell they're not just looking for the right person, but also that the company is a good fit for you.
- Could you describe how you'd handle specific job-related tasks and challenges?
Content Specialist
The interview process involved a recruiter Skype call, a hiring manager Skype call, an online content strategy task, and an in-house interview called Demo Day. It was a really smooth and well-organized process. The recruiters were super helpful, giving us company info like slides and answering questions fast. They even sorted out accommodation and transport for Demo Day. Demo Day itself involved a 2-day task in their office, which was tough but the employees helped out. There were also team meals to check our social skills.
- Be yourself and show your analytical skills, drawing on your past analytics experience.
- Research the company and be prepared to discuss it.
- The interviews and Demo Day are designed to assess cultural fit and your potential success and added value in the role.
