First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brain Balance.
Coach
The interview process was very laid back and friendly, with really nice people. I highly recommend just being yourself. For prep, read their book and come prepared with questions.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
Coach
I went through three rounds of interviews, and honestly, each one felt good. The people I met were great, and I really connected with the work they're doing. They said I'd hear back by Tuesday, but Saturday passed, then Monday, and I'm still waiting. I've tried following up, but it's like nobody's really in charge of the hiring. Look, I can take a 'no,' just be upfront with me.
- Tell me about your experience coaching children.
Coach
Applying was straightforward. About a week after submitting my resume, I received a phone call. This led to a group interview. They actually hire two individuals for each role and then put them both through training, essentially making them compete. The final decision is based on who performs better during this training period. I'm not entirely sure what happens to the other person afterward, whether they are offered a different role or something else.
- Can you tell me about your experience working with children?
- Describe a time you encountered a conflict at work and how you resolved it.
