First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brafton.
Content Marketing Manager
The interview process involved standard questions and I had a good connection with both the international HR person and the hiring manager. Everything seemed to go great, and they said HR would follow up, but then I heard absolutely nothing. All I got was a robotic email saying they decided to move forward with someone else. I tried to get some feedback so I could learn from the interview, but I got absolutely nothing back.
- What's your approach to managing a remote team?
Content Writer
I had a phone chat with the VP Content. It felt like he was the one deciding because he had to - I was told people with my background (journalism) don't last long in the role and that working there would kill my writing passion on my own time. Then I was told the next step was a skills test that you could only do during business hours, even if you were already working full-time. I passed on it.
- What makes you want to join Brafton?
Content Writer
I started with a quick Zoom call with the recruiter, who seemed to be reading from a script. Then, I got an email to take a writing sample assignment. This assignment was pretty straightforward, asking me to analyze a fake content brief and write a 1000-word article optimized for search engines.
- Can you discuss your previous work experience?
- What are your salary expectations?
- How do you approach the content writing process?
