Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Brady.
Sales
I spoke with someone who described the role and structure, and I asked them some questions. They said they'd get back to me in about a week, and that they planned to move fast and schedule another interview with the hiring manager. They never responded or let me know if they decided to go with other candidates. Total ghosting.
- How do you feel about remote work and commuting to the office?
Sales
The first call with HR was a total waste of time. They seemed clueless about the actual job and just made stuff up to try and get me interested. They totally didn't mention how short-staffed the company is. They also lied about whether working from home was an option. And they lied about the benefits and any training that's available. There was no chance to see the office in person, which I guess would have shown how depressing and empty the building is. They gave a completely misleading idea of the job, its challenges, and the training.
- What's your reason for wanting to switch careers?
Sales Support Representative
First, I had a phone call with a recruiter. Then, two days later, I went in person to interview with two managers. They were really nice and made me feel at ease. They had a list of questions they went through with me.
- Can you describe a situation where you had a conflict with a colleague and explain your approach to resolving it?
