The first interview was really good. The person interviewing me paid close attention and really helped steer the conversation well. They were upfront about what the job needs, and asked just the right questions to see how my experience matched up.

The recruiter from Bradsby Group let me know that his client was aware of my salary expectations and that there were no problems. However, during the interview, which was spread over several days because of travel, the client mentioned they were under the impression that I was okay with their offered salary, which was significantly different from my own. I've heard from colleagues who have also worked with this group (through various recruiters) that they've run into the same issues.

First they will call you to explain the process and see if you would be a good fit. Pretty much a recruiter/manager will interview you over the phone and vet your personality. Then you will come in and interview with the same person and if they will give you a list of potential clients/candidates to call. If you do well there, they will bring the people in on the managers team to see if you meld well with others. Either they will tell you they will call you soon or they will have set up a video conference with the owner. The owner has the final say, obviously. Once, the owner and you have had that conference, and the gives the manager the go ahead, you will be called and notified that you will be receiving an offer letter via email.

I was reached out to by a recruiter on LinkedIn, but it's been a difficult process to even connect with them. They don't respond to my messages on LinkedIn, even though they initiated contact and wanted to schedule a call. They take days to respond after saying they'd be in touch that day or the next, and then ask for my availability. It's really unprofessional, especially for someone with years of recruiting experience. You should respond to candidates.
