I had an HR phone screen where we walked through my resume and discussed my experience. I was asked about my partnership experience and how many years of public accounting experience I have. The HR rep also gave me more information about the company.

I had an initial call with a recruiter that was pretty normal. The recruiter then set me up with 2 partner interviews. On the day of the interviews, both partners had forgotten about it, so I had to call the office. One partner joined the interview, while the other wanted to reschedule. It was very disorganized, we scheduled an hour but only had 22 minutes of interviews. They say hiring is a priority, but partners missing interviews makes me question that.

I had an initial interview with a recruiter, and within a few days, I interviewed with two managers who seemed to like me and indicated I'd be hearing from HR. After a few days of waiting for an offer, I got an email for a third interview with a partner. During that interview, the partner expressed concern about my lack of tax experience, despite it being on my resume and me mentioning it multiple times. She also questioned my understanding of accounting, even though I just graduated with a Master's in Accounting and highlighted this on my resume and in conversation. A few days later, I was informed they weren't moving forward. It felt like my qualifications were overlooked.
