Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BPM.
Intern
The interview process consisted of two rounds and spanned approximately two months. For the intern level, only behavioral questions were asked. I learned about the company at a job fair on campus.
- What is your motivation for choosing BPM?
Intern
I had two interviews for this internship. The first one was on campus because I found the role through school events. It lasted about 30 minutes with two interviewers, and they asked about my resume experience. I was nervous but it wasn't too bad; they really wanted to know more about me. The second interview was at the office with three different people, and each part was about half an hour. It was pretty straightforward, no super hard questions, and I got to have good conversations with them while they learned more about me.
- Can you introduce yourself and share what you consider your biggest challenge?
- Tell me about yourself. What's your greatest challenge?
Intern
The whole interview was a disaster. It went on for almost three hours, which I wasn't told beforehand. I thought it would be a quick chat with one person, but I ended up meeting with four. The person who first emailed me seemed really unprofessional, making me question if it was a legitimate opportunity. Honestly, they were that bad, I almost didn't even do the interview. Two of the people interviewing me seemed really unhappy with their jobs. One of them was actually rude. When I tried to ask about a typical day, he launched into a sarcastic story about his personal life and never talked about work. I asked again nicely and he snapped, 'I already told you!' Based on this interview and the unprofessional vibe at the new recruit welcome night, I'm definitely not considering them for any serious job offers.
- Where is your family located?
- What is your current means of financial support?
