The hiring process was super fast and easy. I submitted my application online on their website and got a call the very next day. I had a quick phone interview that lasted about 10 minutes, and then they invited me for an in-person interview. The actual interview was a group session with two other people interviewing and the store manager. They mainly talked about the job, what they expect, and then we could ask questions. They mentioned they cared more about my personality, energy, and look than my qualifications. I heard back from the manager in less than 3 days after the interview, and they offered me the job.

When I got there, I told one of the employees on the floor I was here for my interview, and he went to get the interviewer. We sat outside the store in a seating area. The interviewer started by telling me that the position is seasonal and that my employment isn't guaranteed after things go back to normal, which I didn't know. I had applied for a permanent role. It was pretty clear she was new to this, and she wasn't even the one who hires, so she had to check with the hiring manager. Overall, I wasn't impressed with how this interview went.

I applied online, and then I dropped off my resume in person. The assistant manager remembered me from when I shopped there. They initially said they weren't hiring, but would keep my resume for when they were, even if just for seasonal work. About two weeks later, they called me for an interview for a permanent role that had opened up. I had two days to prepare. It was supposed to be a panel interview with four people, but only two of us showed up (myself and another candidate). The manager and assistant manager interviewed us, asking different questions and taking notes. The interview wasn't too difficult. The next day, I called to thank the manager, and they offered me the job right then.
