I had a 30-minute chat with the recruiter, then a 30-minute call with the hiring manager, followed by four back-to-back 30-minute interviews with team members, and wrapped up with a 1-hour presentation. I saw reviews beforehand and yeah, it really is overkill for the pay, which isn't much more than a cashier at a place like Costco. This is the first time I've felt like leaving a bad review after an interview, it just left a bad taste. Honestly, the process was easier for jobs that paid way more. The only good thing was that the people seemed pretty nice.
- Can you share an example of a challenging customer interaction?
- Tell me about a time you exceeded expectations to assist a customer.
- How do you manage your workload when you have many support tickets?

This was the best recruitment process I've ever gone through! I always heard about next steps within 2 days max, everyone was well prepared and natural for each interview - it was clear to me they actually spent time reviewing my information ahead of the interview. There were 3 rounds - recruiter, hiring manager, panel/presentation. It was a relatively painless process!
- What motivates you to do your best work?

Applied online using the Box Careers page. Was asked to do a short (20 minute) video interview where I had to record myself answering 6 questions (half written/half Box employee prerecorded question). Then, had an initial phone screen interview with recruiter (20 minutes). Followed by a phone interview with hiring manager (30 minutes). Lastly, a virtual Zoom interview (4-30 minute interviews with 4 different employees including 2 support managers and 2 leads. 1-30 minute demo where I had to present a Box feature to all 4 employees which I interviewed with. Total 2 and half hour virtual interview process)
- What is your approach to handling situations and issues that need escalation due to user sentiment or apparent high-impact platform issues?
