Started with a recruiter reaching out. Had a 30-minute initial phone screen asking about my background. Then, a virtual on-camera interview with the hiring manager. It seemed to go well and we had good rapport. They mentioned my experience was exactly what they were looking for and I should expect a call from the recruiter about the next interview with the VP. However, I just got a generic email saying they hired someone who was already further along.

I was contacted by a recruiter and had an initial phone screening with them, then a phone interview with the hiring manager, then attended a networking event on site, then I was given an assignment to be completed in time for my on-site interview with the manager and three members of the team, finally a last phone interview with the director of the team at HQ. Overall an extremely pleasant interview process. They are looking for motivated, hard-working people who work well in a highly collaborative environment and enjoy the team structure. If that's you, then it will be a very natural process. They really know what they're looking for and want to make sure you're it. The content and questions asked were not difficult, mostly behavioral/situational questions to see whether or not you're going to be a good fit with the company culturally. They really invest in their people and that is evident in the way they interview. The process moves pretty quickly once you start interviewing. Took me about three weeks total before I was made an offer.

Box is an amazing company and their interview process shows it. They are efficient and make sure to get to know each person to see if they'd be a good fit. The whole thing took about 3-4 weeks. It started with two phone screens with the recruiter. Then, I had a 30-minute call with a sales manager. After that, there was a round-robin style interview session that lasted 2.5 hours with five different team members. To wrap it up, I had a 30-minute call with the director of sales/strategy. My recruiter was super helpful in getting me ready for each interview, and all the conversations were open and really delved into my past experiences.
