Sales Development Representative
Had a 30 minute chat with the recruiter who was super helpful and gave me lots of info about the role and company. Then had a second interview with the hiring manager, which was a bit more technical but not too hard. They asked me about myself and what I knew about the company. I didn't get the job because I didn't have enough experience, but I'd really like to work there someday.

Sales Development Representative
The recruiting process was incredibly disorganized. It started with an initial recruiter call about the role. Then, I was supposed to talk to the hiring manager, but the recruiter spoke to another recruiter and thought I might be a better fit for a higher position. I wasn't qualified for that, so after the other recruiter passed me along, I had to go back to the original recruiter to say I still wanted to interview for the original position I knew I was qualified for. Then, she suggested I'd be bored because I have some experience, which I found strange given it's a different company and product. Despite my hesitations due to the process, I eventually spoke with the hiring manager for a second round about two weeks ago. I've followed up multiple times about debriefing, but it's been silent. It's been a mess, and I don't understand why it's so hard to get candidates through the process, especially with an internal referral. This whole experience has been really off-putting.
- Why would you want to do the same job you're currently doing?
Sales Development Representative
I had a great experience interviewing with Nichole Gorham at Box. After applying for an SDR role, I got a phone screening. On the call, Nichole was upfront about the SDR position's current status and asked if I wanted to keep going. I said yes to learning more, which made me more interested in joining. She went above and beyond to give me helpful feedback and career transition advice. I really appreciated her help and the time she gave me. I wanted to leave this review to show my appreciation.
- Can you tell me about your background?
