There were several rounds of interviews, plus a presentation. The presentation was really time-consuming and happened early on, which I thought was unfair given how much work it was.

The whole process was great: a recruiter reached out to me and had an initial chat with me, then the recruitment manager took over and acted like a real partner all throughout the rigorous selection process. They kept calling to check up on me at every step to assess my motivation and see what was on my mind. Then when I got the offer it exceeded my expectations and in addition to that, when I accepted I received an amazing bottle of champagne delivered to my house. I was very touched by the gesture and I think it's a great indicator to the kind of company Box is.

I was contacted by a recruiter on LinkedIn and after a good chat, I moved to the next stage. Then I spoke with the hiring manager, which went well. A couple days later, I was invited for a presentation and about 3 more hours of interviews. I put a lot of effort into the presentation and my research beforehand. The recruiter sent a meeting invite with the wrong office location, which was a bit stressful on the day of as I was unsure about parking and the floor. Once I arrived at Box, I got a tour and then had 4 more interviews. All the interviewers asked the same questions, and I tried to give varied answers. I did my presentation, but I didn't have enough time to prepare or get water, so it started late. It seemed to go okay, but I didn't hear back for a week. I emailed the recruiter and got a standard rejection email. It's frustrating to spend so much time on interviews and a presentation and not get constructive feedback.
