The first interview was with a pleasant interviewer. It took a long time for them to get back to me after I followed up, and I didn't receive any feedback. The salary seemed reasonable compared to the industry average, and the number of work-from-home days was also typical.

So I did an online form and screening first, then I had an onsite interview in Austin. Honestly, the interview left me with a bad vibe. The interviewer bragged for a solid five minutes about how most of their new hires are from Ivy League schools. It felt super pretentious. It's a bummer because lots of really talented people didn't get the chance to go to an Ivy League. This whole focus on where you went to school instead of what you can do made me doubt the company's values.

Behavioral Case Presentation

The process kicks off with a recruiter chat, then a chat with the hiring manager. After that, there's a 30-min mock discovery call role-play, and then a final 1-hour panel interview covering Territory Planning and Analysis and a Deal Review. I was really impressed with the whole recruitment thing; from applying to the final interviews, it was all interesting and tough. The recruiter, hiring manager, and AEs at Box were great at communicating and kept me in the loop, plus they really tried to get to know me and my career plans. They gave me good info about the job and the company vibe, and made sure I had what I needed to decide. Big thanks to Sophie Raymond from EMEA for helping me out! All in all, couldn't have wished for a better recruitment experience. Box really cares about candidates, I totally recommend them :)
