Project Manager
There were 6 total interviews. It was a lengthy interview process that I believe could have been better organized to take place on the same day in order to not take up so much of my schedule. On top of the prep involved, a lot of my time was taken (out of my current workday might I add) to ultimately get jerked around. I was asked to do many stages of interviewing and got to the final round of interviews. - What is prompting your job search?
- Of all your accomplishments, which one stands out the most?
Project Manager
The recruiter contacted me on LinkedIn. We had an initial 45-minute phone screen, then there were 5 more interview rounds with different senior staff. Four of those interviews were 45 minutes each, and the last one was an hour long. It was a really thorough and intense process, but the recruiter was super responsive and did a great job coordinating everything.
- Can you share an instance from a project where you spotted a deficiency and describe how you addressed it?
Project Manager
I sent in my application online and then a recruiter reached out via email to set up an initial phone screening. The screening call was about 30 minutes long and went really well. The recruiter was super friendly and seemed really interested in my background. They were quite enthusiastic about the company, which in turn got me more excited about the opportunity. They put me forward for the next step. The following round was a Zoom call with a project manager based in Toronto. Sadly, our internet connection wasn't great, which made their audio choppy. They sounded pretty uninterested and didn't ask many questions. After two weeks of no word, I followed up with the recruiter for feedback, even though I figured I hadn't made it to the next stage. However, I never got a response back. It's disappointing they couldn't spare a few minutes to reply.
- Can you describe a mistake you've made in a project manager role?
- Could you share an example of a difficult project situation you faced and how you resolved it?
- What is your experience?
