HR Operations Manager
The phone screen with Danielle, the Director of Talent, was great. She was clear and thoughtful, making it feel easy and real, not complicated. She explained things well and kept me updated, so I always knew what was going on. This shows the good changes she's made to hiring.

Program Manager
The hiring manager didn't seem to know what role I had applied to and asked me questions that did not pertain. They also spent a great deal of time bragging about their professional accomplishments, which seemed to matter to them more than my shared experiences. It was a very confusing interview experience. That said, the other employees I spoke with and met through the process were great, professional, and would have been people I'd have enjoyed working with.

Account Manager
The interview process was pretty long and drawn out. It was confusing because the roles of the people I was interviewing with kept changing. I even had an interview scheduled where nobody showed up. When I followed up, the recruiter told me they had been let go. They moved me to the next stages without giving me any feedback. After going through 5 interviews over a span of 3 months, I eventually got an email saying they weren't going to fill the position anymore because they were re-aligning internal functions. The email mentioned that everyone I spoke to had good things to say about me. But then, shortly after, they posted new openings for a 'Franchisee Account Executive' role. When I reached out about it, I was told I'd have to go through the entire interview process again, even with all the positive feedback I received. It felt like a huge waste of time.

Manager
So I applied and HR got in touch a few weeks later to set up an initial interview. It was a 30-minute basic chat with HR/talent acquisition. Then I had a 30-minute Skype interview with the hiring manager, which actually ran long because we had a great conversation and they seemed really interested in me. We had a second interview, an hour long this time, again going over where we left off and getting good feedback that my experience was a perfect match. After that, I had two more Skype interviews with different upper management folks, and those also ran long with good chats. So, that was 5 virtual interviews in total. The next step was an in-person meeting with the hiring manager to check out the office. This was interview number 6. About 45 minutes into the in-person meeting, while we were walking around, the hiring manager started acting a bit weird, checking door handles and then pulled me into a small, windowless room. They said something like, 'Ok, something I've been dying to ask you for the past 30 minutes.' Given the buildup, I thought it was going to be a big question. Then they asked, 'How would you USE a Manager of Customer Insights to your advantage?' which was weird because that role doesn't exist at the company and hadn't been mentioned before. I asked for more context, but the answer wasn't helpful. My answers were pretty weak after that, and then I was rushed out. About a week later, I got a short email from HR saying they went with someone else and suggesting I apply again if a better fit comes up. I asked for feedback but haven't heard back, which feels pretty insulting after all that.
