I had a great first interview with an Area Director on Jan 19. They set me up with a paid OJE on Jan 23. Then I had another interview with a different Area Director on Jan 26. She didn't seem to care at all and didn't seem like she wanted to be there. It's March 17th and I still haven't been paid for the OJE.

I was referred by a friend who worked for the company. After submitting my application and resume, I was contacted to schedule an interview with the district manager. During our conversation, he brought up my military experience. However, he interrupted me to say that the company doesn't hire veterans due to perceived psychological issues, leading to them quitting or being fired. Despite this, he offered to let me complete the interview and tests. It felt like a complete waste of my time, and I found his attitude to be rude and disrespectful.

It was a really nice interview process with realistic expectations. If you're good at handling all parts of running a restaurant and enjoy building trust and taking care of your team, this could be a great spot. Especially if you're an overachiever, there's lots of opportunity to stand out.
