I was first contacted via email and then had a phone chat with the Administrator, which was great. Then I was invited for the first interview for the internship role, and the questions were tough but interesting. We discussed my professional background and also what I enjoy doing in my free time. Fortunately, I was invited back for a second interview. This time, I learned more about the daily tasks and the learning opportunities during my 3-month internship. I really enjoyed the whole experience and am excited to start this summer!

Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was really welcoming! From the moment I entered, the receptionist made me feel comfortable. Meeting the hiring manager was also a great experience; she was very friendly, and it made me feel like I could genuinely enjoy working there. The second round was more in-depth. I learned that the role involves direct marketing with a lot of personal interaction, which is perfect for me as I enjoy talking to people, much better than sitting in a cubicle. We also discussed the compensation plan, which aligned with my work ethic, and I found out about opportunities for internal growth. All my questions were answered during this second interview.

They reached out to me. I didn't do as much research as I should have given the economic climate and job market. There wasn't a lot of info on pay and benefits, so I went through with it. It's hourly until you hit a sales minimum, then it's commission. Benefits start after 3 months. It's basically door-to-door sales for big corporate clients, though it's digital now because of Covid. I wish I'd known the pay structure and exact job description beforehand.

The entire process was conducted online, and I really enjoyed it. Initially, I recorded myself answering interview questions using DigitalHire. After that, I was invited for a second interview via Zoom with an account manager. I found the interview to be engaging, although it covered a substantial amount of ground.
