It was a very straightforward and friendly management team. I felt very comfortable and they were very clear on the expectations of the job. I got the sense that a lot of the staff has been there for a very long time and that’s a great sign. I am actually looking forward to begin work.

I filled out an online application, but it also said I needed to apply in person at the store. The online application mentioned they were ONLY hiring full-time. I went to the store and completed a paper application. They told me they'd call if interested. About two weeks later, I got a call for an interview. When I went in, I had to fill out yet another paper form. Then, I was called into HR. The HR person reviewed my information, asked me one or two questions, and said I was qualified. However, she mentioned she was interviewing others and would call by the end of the week, in the morning, to confirm. My interview was at noon, and she seemed eager to finish, possibly for lunch. I waited all Friday morning, but heard nothing. I'm not happy about my time being wasted or being promised a call at a specific time without any follow-up. It's also odd that their website lied about only hiring full-time; in-store, there were only two full-time positions available, with most being part-time. It felt like a bait and switch.

Behavioral Technical

The interview was enlightening, informative, and successful. It had three parts: a questionnaire and two separate interviews. They asked about my skills and I answered well. The pay was better than I expected, which was great. They were strict about the dress code. Training and orientation were paid and informative. My co-interviewers seemed competitive and resilient.
