So first, there was this online test, which had 3 parts - Aptitude, Technical, and Coding. Each part had its own time limit, and the whole thing was 2 hours long. The Aptitude part had basic quant, verbal, and logic stuff. The Technical round focused heavily on C and C++. The Coding round was an hour long with 2 questions, and they were pretty straightforward, mostly needing good logic. The very next day, they had a Technical interview and an HR interview for those who passed the online test. The Technical interview was super simple, just basic C and C++ questions after they quickly looked at my resume. The HR interview was real quick 'cause I was the last person they interviewed. The interviewer skimmed my resume and then asked a bunch of questions.

So I graduated in 2023, and I was in the top 2 percentile from my college. BGSW started hiring really early, back in August 2022. They told us during the Pre-Placement Talk that we'd get both an internship and a Full-Time Employment (FTE). The interviews themselves were surprisingly easy, but then later, way after everyone else had finished their hiring, BGSW told us no internships and that they were speeding up onboarding. They kept having these 30-minute meetings for like 400-500 new hires, but always said onboarding wasn't happening anytime soon. It's been over 15 months since I interviewed, and none of the 2023 grads from my university have even started yet. When we asked why, they blamed 'Covid' and weren't even sure if onboarding would finish by July 2024. After pushing them, they finally said, 'The whole hiring process isn't a job guarantee, it's just to check if you're eligible.' As a final-year student, I didn't know this, and I couldn't apply to other companies because of it, like many colleges in India. Even though I had the skills, being a top 2 percent graduate, I'm stuck because someone couldn't figure out if they actually needed freshers, plus the economy is bad. The funny thing is, BGSW is back on campus hiring 2024 grads for the same job.
