Behavioral Technical Case

The interview process at BORN Commerce had three rounds. First was the L-1 round, focusing on the daily activities of a BA, including BA documentation and Agile principles. Then came an assignment to check business acumen and creativity in solutions. Finally, the L-2 round was scenario-based, discussing things like migrating solutions from Shopify to Magento.

Behavioral Technical

I interviewed twice for this company, first as a Business Analyst with 6 years of experience and then for a Presales role with 13 years of experience. Both times, my resume was shortlisted by an agency, which is unusual since they don't typically hire through agencies due to the fees. The same interviewer conducted both processes. This interviewer has an e-commerce operations background and seems to expect Business Analyst and Presales candidates to have similar experience. It seems like they should look for candidates with that background internally, as it's unlikely to find external candidates with that specific experience. If your resume gets shortlisted by an agency, I'd suggest requesting an initial phone call with BORN group to avoid wasting your time.

Worst experience ever. Seriously, they set up interviews just for show and publicity. They schedule tons of people and make us wait for ages past our scheduled time. When it's finally my turn for the face-to-face, the interviewer is rushing to finish and leaves to check on the others. It's funny how they think they can assess someone with just 3-4 basic questions. No feedback was given afterwards, and the response was unsatisfactory.
