Everything before the interviews was done through email. Then, I had two interviews on the same day, one right after the other, for about 2 hours total. First, I spoke with HR, then with the department manager. They asked standard interview questions, like why I want to work for BorgWarner and about my strengths and weaknesses. They also asked a lot about my past jobs and schooling. After the questions, they gave me more details about the internship and the company.

I applied through my school's career services and got a call from an HR generalist for a short ~15-20 min phone interview. They asked some general questions like what I did in a situation, why I was interested in the company, and what I would do if I got the job. After that, I had another phone interview with the department manager. This one was more casual, starting with general questions and then moving to talking about hobbies and leisure stuff. About a week later, they flew me out to the plant for a tour and to meet everyone. I actually already had an offer at this point, but they wanted me to see the place before deciding to accept.

So I had an interview for an internship. The first round was an aptitude test. It had apti questions, c and embedded questions. It was pretty easy. Then there was a second round, which was a technical round that lasted about 45 minutes. They asked basic questions related to my engineering branch. Finally, the 3rd round was an hr round.
