This was one of the worst interview experiences I've had. The technical interviewer asked about experiences not listed on my CV. I'm not sure if they even review the CV beforehand or if they just want to confuse candidates. The HR person was nice and understanding, but the technical interviewer was an impolite power electronics expert who couldn't appreciate skills from other fields. I usually don't complain, but this interview crossed a line and I feel compelled to share it with future candidates.

Interviewed with 3 people and the Hiring Manager. It was mostly a technical interview with a bit of chat about living in Kokomo. We talked about power electronics, general electrical topics, and some behavioral stuff. I also got a lab tour to see their facility, meet potential colleagues, and learn about life in Kokomo.

There were four steps in the interview process: first, a call with the recruiter, second, a meeting with the hiring manager, third, an interview with the team, and finally, an HR interaction. The toughest part was impressing the hiring manager; if they believed you could add value to the team, you were very likely to get an offer.
