The interview was for an analyst in the Middle East Region. There were 3 interviews in total, each conducted by a different Booz team member. Each interview featured a case study question. These cases weren't rigidly structured but were personally chosen and presented in the interviewer's unique style. For instance, one interviewer posed estimation questions like 'what is the world's combined GDP?'. Another interviewer used a map of a country's oil infrastructure and asked industry-related questions. Generally, the cases were simpler and less quantitative than those at McKinsey.

The process involves two rounds of interviews at the office. Each round had two interviews, and each interview was about 30-45 minutes. The interview questions were mainly one or two case study questions where a problem was given. The questions required an approach to solving the problem and also some simple arithmetic to be performed on scratch paper or in your head. The interviewers were helpful, offering insight and/or leading thought as far as developing an approach to solving the case study problems given.
