First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Boost Healthcare Consulting.
Software Engineer
The interview process included an initial chat with the CTO/Lead Developer, then a technical interview, followed by a leadership discussion and a meeting with the CEO. The technical interview was a bit of a mess because they seemed to have forgotten our prior conversation, and after that, they just went silent.

- What are your thoughts on our company?

This was such a disappointing and deceiving process, I interviewed for the HCA with 4 interviews. They loved me and my experience but offered me a lower position and convinced me to consider it. They then rejected me after putting me through yet another interview which was supposed to just be a finalizing of the offer and details. The recruiter claimed to be respectful of my time and energy, but this process was anything but. I should have read the glassdoor reviews beforehand honestly, looks like I dodged a bullet.
- Can you describe how you structure your daily tasks and overcome obstacles?
Associate Consultant
Because of COVID, the entire interview process was conducted over Zoom. The company has successfully transitioned to a fully remote work model, which they said is working well. It was impressive how quickly they adapted to the remote setup when the stay-in-place order was issued. I started with a call with a very friendly recruiter who addressed all my questions. Next, I had a meeting with two consultants who provided a thorough overview of the company. Following that, a manager sent me a case study. Although I felt I approached it correctly, I missed the mark on all the questions. Instead of making me feel inadequate, the manager kindly guided me through it, and it became clear afterward. I then had a very open and honest discussion with the manager about my career aspirations, specifically my desire for a role where I can take on diverse responsibilities like recruiting or training, and avoid being held back by bureaucracy in a single position, which is why I was only considering smaller companies. The CEO personally reached out the next day to arrange the final interview with her. We had a great conversation, and she was very straightforward and approachable, answering all my questions. The smooth recruiting process, even without an on-site component, really reflects positively on the company.
- In what areas are you hoping to develop your skills?
- What are your career goals?
- How might your previous experiences benefit this company?

The interview process included a behavioral interview with pretty standard questions. They asked about my resume, like why I've been doing this for a while and what my motivations were. It's important to know the reasons behind your resume activities and how they've shaped you.
- Can you discuss your background in healthcare?
- What motivated you to pursue this path for an extended period?
- What led to your statement [regarding X]?
