I went through two interviews. The first was an in-person meeting with my direct supervisor, and the second was a phone call with the Regional supervisor. The second one felt more like a conversation than a formal interview.

I applied online and got a call for an interview a week later. I knew it was bad when the GM was covering the register during a cashier break. I was interviewed by the GM and DM. They were nice but unrealistic about what they could get for the salary they were offering for an Asst GM role. The GM had to leave mid-interview a couple of times, so I had to repeat my answers. They clearly want someone they don't have to train, which makes me wonder why they called me in. It felt like a waste of time. The stores seemed really slow, I only saw two people there the whole time, and one was just reading magazines while the other was drinking coffee. I think this company might be going downhill.
