First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bon Secours.
Registered Nurse
I applied to Bon Secours Maryview in November 2013. I got a call in early January for an interview. When I got there, I waited about 10-15 minutes. They asked some standard questions, told me about the company, and then asked a scenario question. They also asked if I had questions. After that, they gave me a tour of the unit. Before I left, they offered me a chance to shadow for 12 hours to see if I was interested. I called two days later to set it up. I shadowed for 13 hours and then sent a thank you card saying I was interested. In the end, I didn't get the job, which was a bummer because I thought the interview and shadowing went well.

Registered Nurse
The hiring manager and two other staff members conducted a group interview. They were really nice and went over the position and expectations. They asked me a few questions and we reviewed my experience. I felt good about the interview and got a call a few hours later with a job offer.
- Can you tell us about yourself?
- Describe a challenging situation you encountered and how you managed it.
- How did you deal with a difficult coworker and what actions did you take to sort it out?
Registered Nurse
The interview process was really personalized and informative, possibly the best one I've ever had. The recruitment team did a fantastic job. I would definitely recommend it. It was virtual, but still felt very personal. I really enjoyed my conversation with the interviewer.
