The interview process was pretty simple, no hard technical stuff. They did ask about how much I knew about some software they use. The rest of the interview was mostly general questions about what I know about the company, my studies, and stuff like that. The whole thing took about 20-30 minutes. I heard back in about 3 business days.

Had 1 technical F2F round with moderate questions and discussion about my profile. Then, there was 1 objective test with aptitude and technology MCQs. Following that, a written coding test with 3-4 moderate difficulty problems. After that, I had 1 F2F interview with a senior manager, mostly about my profile and questions like strength/weakness etc. The final stage was an HR round. In the HR round, there was just 1 more person besides me out of around 50-60 people. The HR guy starts the salary negotiations by saying I have very entry-level skills but they can still offer me the position. He doesn't even know what my organization does, but tells me that my experience is not so advanced compared to the work they do. Then he goes on to give an offer which is less than my current salary. I asked him the reason. On asking multiple times about the feedback from the panel, he finally tells me that I am already getting good enough compared to their current employees in similar roles. He also mentioned that Baroda is a smaller and cheaper city. They always try to negotiate, so always reject their initial offer.

I was contacted in July 2018 for a Principal Software Engineer role in Vadodara. The HR seemed really interested because of my experience in the rail domain, which is similar to the job. My interview was set for 12 PM, but the HR kept checking in from 10 AM. I got to the office at 11:30 AM, and they asked me to wait because others were also interviewing. It was 4 PM, and still no update, just 'please wait.' When I asked why the delay, the HR said they were working hard and I needed to be patient. I almost left, but the HR then set up the interview. However, their attitude was quite rude. The panel asked only 3-4 basic questions, nothing about my specific work or domain. They then said I wasn't a good fit because I wasn't from Vadodara and relocation was unlikely. This surprised me since relocation was discussed earlier, and I wondered why they called me for such a short interview. After it ended, the HR asked me to leave immediately without any feedback. I felt like they had already decided to reject me, possibly because I showed frustration with the long wait. I traveled 2 hours, waited 4.5 hours, and the overall experience with both the HR and the panel was terrible. The HR didn't even apologize for the significant delay and poor management of the interview schedule.
