There were 3 rounds of interviews: first was a telephonic call with onshore leaders, second was a video conference with onshore leaders, and the third was a face-to-face interview with offshore folks. The third round was pretty unpleasant because the interviewer was asking really basic questions, like if my CV was in chronological order, and was unprofessional in how they talked about my personal and professional life, which made me uncomfortable. Even though it was probably just one person, their lack of professionalism and integrity made me reconsider joining the company. I was initially very keen on joining, but had to make a different decision.

I talked to a recruiter first who was trying to find someone for this job they had been looking for a while. Then I had an hour-long meeting with the person I'd report to. It was a good conversation with direct questions about the job and how my background fit. Right after, I met with the internal client for another hour-long interview. She even showed me my future office, which felt like a really good sign. They invited me back the next day for a group interview with my potential colleagues. The whole thing went super fast because I had another offer and needed to decide soon.

First, I had a straightforward interview with HR. Then, about a week or two later, I got a callback for an interview with a different HR person and the hiring manager together. They asked really, really detailed questions about how exactly I would accomplish the mandate, step by step, and how I'd do certain tasks. I've never seen such a detailed interview before, especially since in reality, how you execute things can differ from company to company due to their specific needs. They asked maybe 10 very specific questions related to the job itself, covering both theory and practical application. The interview wasn't difficult, but it was super detailed and intense. The HR person mentioned afterwards that she thought it went well, but two weeks later, I found out they hired someone else.
