Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bombardier.
Project Engineer
We had an online interview on Microsoft Teams. We were asked to prepare two powerpoints beforehand. One was a business proposal and the other a personal biography. We had to present both for 3 minutes max each.
- Tell me about a time you had a conflict with someone and how you resolved it.
- What is your motivation for joining Bombardier?
Engineering
I applied to Bombardier in Canada. The HR and hiring manager didn't communicate well. After interviews and follow ups, I got no response or feedback. Communication needs to be more transparent and professional during hiring. Acknowledging efforts and giving updates shows respect. Hope for better communication for future applicants.
- Why are you interested in working for Bombardier
Project Engineer
First there was a screening interview to see if you're a good fit. Then a phone interview to narrow down who's interested and pick people for the job. After that, a skill assessment, then a first interview, followed by a second interview. Finally, a background check and then the job offer.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Are you willing to relocate?
