Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bombardier.
Business Analyst
There were a few rounds of interviews. It started with a call with HR, then a meeting with the hiring manager committee, and finally a group interview where we did a team exercise and they watched how we interacted.
- Can you share your strengths and weaknesses?
- Tell me about a time you faced a difficult situation.
- What's your experience with change management?
Business Analyst
I applied online and heard back from HR about a week later. They asked if I'd applied elsewhere in the company and if I had other interviews going on. I said yes to both, which surprised me since they apparently didn't have that info. Maybe their HR systems aren't linked up. Anyway, I interviewed the following week with a manager, a senior BA, and an HR person. I thought it went pretty well.
- What are your motivators?
Business Analyst
So first there was like an initial contact, then a one-on-one interview where they asked about my previous experience and education. They also asked how I would evaluate my performance and what I wanted to achieve during the internship. After being selected, HR contacted me to confirm the position and salary. As an intern, I couldn't negotiate the hourly rate.
- Tell me about your past experiences and your education.
- What's your self-assessment of your performance in this role?
- What are your internship goals?
