First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bolt.
Customer Success Manager
The whole interview shindig went for about a month and a half. It started with two phone screens, then an on-site, followed by an on-site case study presentation, and then a final call. After that, they checked references and ran a background check. The initial phone calls were pretty standard, mostly asking about culture and my background. The on-site involved several 45-minute chats with different folks on the team. After that, I had to put together and present a Case Study to a panel from the first on-site. Then I had quick chats with various company folks. The Case Study was pretty tough and took a good chunk of time to get ready and present. Everyone on the team was super nice and friendly, and honestly, I really enjoyed interviewing at Bolt.

Customer Success Manager
I had a phone interview with the recruiter. He initially missed our scheduled meeting, then emailed to explain he was double-booked, which I understood. During the actual interview, he seemed uninterested in what I had to say. His questions felt more like statements, and he didn't follow up when I answered. He didn't ask about any relevant skills. It felt like a formality, like he just wanted to finish. He seemed really rushed, so I also rushed, and I think that's why I didn't get another interview. It was disappointing because the company seems great, but oh well.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- Describe a situation where you worked your hardest.
- What's your understanding of BOLT?
Customer Success Manager
Bolt was one of the best interview experiences I've had in my career so far. The recruiter reached out to me quickly and was accommodating of the fact that I was further along in a few other interview processes. It's a comprehensive interview process, but that's what gave me confidence that Bolt was the right choice. I had a 30 minute screen, followed by a 2.5 hour round of interviews with members of various teams, and finally a case study presentation. It was clear in all of my conversations that they genuinely loved working for the company and were happy. The case study is a bit intimidating at first but very manageable. I had zero hesitation when I received an offer, and it's been the best decision yet.
