Software Development Engineer in Test
The interview process overall was smooth. It kicked off with a first technical round via Teams. I got selected for a second technical round, which also happened on the same day. Then, a third round (Director level) was scheduled within 5 days, and the fourth round (HR Salary Negotiation) took place a couple of days after that.
- Tell me about yourself, and then solve a couple of Data Structure coding problems and some puzzles, followed by 6-8 Selenium concept questions.
- Solve some Data Structure coding problems and puzzles, then answer some Java concepts and Selenium Framework questions.

The whole interview was on the same day, but the offer letter took over a month to arrive. They asked about salary expectations but offered much lower than I asked for. The hiring team was quite lazy, and I had to chase them for any updates as they never called or emailed. Despite seeing negative feedback about the BOLD interview process, I still applied. I got the offer, but it was significantly less than I expected, and the wait was over a month. Based on the hiring team's work ethic, I guessed the overall system at BOLD and decided to decline the offer to avoid future frustration. They claim to be a product-based company, but my experience suggests otherwise, and it's better to avoid them. I hope my experience saves you time.
- Can you write a program to reverse a string?
Software Development Engineer in Test
I had a hiring drive on March 13th with 3 rounds. The first was a technical round, which was a great experience because I got to answer new questions about Selenium and programming. The second round was also technical, focusing on programming knowledge and logic. The third round was a Director round with some random technical questions and puzzles. Overall, it was a wonderful experience for me.
- What are your basic to advance level programming questions in Selenium?
- Can you explain some tricky logic and basic questions?
- How does the framework work end to end?
