First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at BOLD.
Associate Product Manager
This was a pretty long interview process, took about a month. First, there was an HR Screen for 45 minutes, then an interview with the Manager that lasted an hour. After that, I had two interviews with Senior employees, each for 30 minutes. Finally, there was a panel interview with two people. I found out I didn't get the role through an automated HR message.

Product Manager
I applied online through LinkedIn, and a recruiter reached out a couple of weeks later. We had a brief phone screen to check my fit, and then she quickly scheduled an in-person interview at their San Francisco office. I met with five Product Managers there for what felt like a pretty standard PM interview. After that, they set up an interview with the engineering team in India to assess my technical skills. About a week after the engineering interview, I got a verbal offer.
- Tell me about your background and some standard PM behavioral questions.
- Can you walk me through your background?
- Do you have experience with e-commerce specific product questions relevant to this role?
Product Manager
A recruiter reached out about a Senior Product Manager opening and set up an initial chat with the hiring manager, who is a Director of Product. A few days later, I heard back and they wanted me to come in for an on-site interview. I met with five product leaders, who were VPs and Directors. Overall, it was a really good experience.
- Can you discuss hypothetical product strategy scenarios?
- Could you share examples from your past experience regarding product strategy?
