First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Bogazici University.
Graduate Student
I interviewed for admission into the computer engineering program. The professors were really nice and made me feel welcome. They seemed focused on understanding my interests and finding ways we could both benefit. Overall, it was a really positive experience, and I was happy to get accepted.
- Can you tell me about your interests and the subjects you enjoy, as well as your future aspirations?
- What subjects do you like, and what are your future goals?
- What do you want to do in the future?
Graduate Student
The interview process usually starts with sending in your resume, and then they do a screening to see if you're qualified. If you pass that, you'll have a first interview, which might be online or in person, where they talk about your background and if you'd be a good fit. After that, there might be some skill tests, and then you'll have a second or final interview, possibly with some team members or even execs. They'll do reference and background checks before making an offer. Then you can negotiate, and if you accept, you'll start the onboarding, which includes orientation and getting you settled into the company stuff. Keep in mind this is just a general idea, and each company does things a bit differently.
- Tell me about your study program.
Graduate Student
